At Dyett & Bhatia Urban and Regional Planners, I oversaw the design, layout, and production of long legal documents in InDesign and Microsoft Word, designed for print and web viewing. I created community engagement materials in the form of posters, fliers, and on-site signs (as well as videos, social media posts, and digital surveys), translating complex ideas into simpler graphics and language. Highlights include: a project introduction postcard mailed to every residential address in Fairfield, CA; the Moreno Valley 2040 General Plan; bilingual and trilingual outreach posters for Sonoma and Solano county planning projects; graphic survey and existing conditions reports for San Diego and Fairfield, CA.
As a graphic design consultant for Rocket Farms, a massive supplier of living herbs and houseplants for grocery stores across the country, I created mass-market-ready tags and packaging sleeves designed to communicate information quickly and legibly and to stand out on a crowded grocery shelf.
At the Texas Travesty, I drew every cover of the magazine, which put out six issues every year, from 2014-2017. Additionally, I created complex infographics and page layouts on tight deadline-driven schedules. I have since used this experience to create corporate white papers and sophisticated presentations.
